When I was younger, I went through an incredibly abusive and destructive relationship. It was about to reach it’s end when I found out I was pregnant. The drug addict father reacted by beating the shit out of me and throwing me off his back porch, and I remembered looking up and seeing the Big Dipper directly overhead. It stuck with me, and this tattoo and the constellation is a reminder of the times I lived through and the daughter I lost along the way. Perfect, and beautifully done.

The love of my life, my niece, finally noticed my arms were different from her mother and fathers, she didn’t leave me alone and asked if she could draw on me :)
